De CD x91Bietels op zx92n Brabantsx92 is op zondagmiddag 8 juni in Lieshout gepresenteerd.
De liedjes op de nieuwe CD zijn vertaald door de beste Brabantse schrijvers en dichters. Ze zijn van nieuwe arrangementen voorzien door de beste arrangeurs. De uitvoering van de zeventien liedjes is een staalkaart van Brabantse muzikaliteit: van jazz tot close Harmony, van feestmuziek tot de bekendste Brabantse dialectartiesten. Er is voor gezorgd dat niet alleen alle deelnemers uit alle delen van de provincie komen, ook in de dialecten komen alle regiox92s aan bod. De opnames zijn gemaakt in de studio van Jan Vis in Rosmalen.
Aan het project dat de CD als resultaat heeft opgeleverd is twee jaar gewerkt. De CD is een initiatief van Erfgoed Brabant, de Stichting Tilburgse Taol en de Stichting Brabantse Avonden Berlicum.
Onlangs had ik een audio interview met Paul Spapens een van de initiatiefnemers van de cd x93 De Bietels op zx92n Brabantsx94 deze wordt op donderdag 2 oktober tussen 20.00 u. en 21.00u uitgezonden in het programma x93The Beatles, Solo & Friendsx94 op www.surfradio.nl herhaling zondagavond tussen 23.00u en 24.00u op Surfradio.nl . Het interview wordt afgewisseld met liedjes van de cd.
